Hot Lunches:
Hot lunches are served every day unless otherwise informed. The lunch program is provided by St. Philip of Jesus at a cost of $2.50 per day ($12.50 per week). Each student must have a lunch either from home or a paid cafeteria lunch. Lunches from Home: All lunch boxes must have the student’s name and grade. Parents are responsible to ensure that a student’s lunch is a well-balanced and nutritious meal. Fast food/restaurant meals are not allowed. Fruit juices sent with lunch must be 100% fruit juice and must not be in glass containers. We discourage soft drinks. Free/Reduced Lunch: Forms for free/reduced priced lunch are distributed the first day of school. Only completed forms will be reviewed. Documentation of the form of income must be included: check stub, W-2 form, or 1040 tax slip. Free or reduced rates are effective only after requests have been processed and approved. At the start of a new school year students remain in the same lunch category as the previous year until the due date for lunch applications (August 29, 2011). After this due date students not in compliance will be placed in the full paid category. Parents/guardians should contact the school office for information about the federal lunch program. See Parent-Student Handbook for more detailed guidance. | Lunch Menu |
